SPEED CONCEPTS RACING MAKES THE SWITCH TO THE OTK PRODUCED REDSPEED RACING KART FOR 2020

With the 2019 racing season ending last week, Speed Concepts Racing is quickly making moves for 2020. With rumors of a chassis switch on the horizon, the Florida based karting program has confirmed the switch to the Redspeed Racing Kart for the upcoming season. Produced by OTK Kart Group in Italy, Redspeed utilizes the same high-quality components and craftsmanship as their siblings: Tony Kart, Kosmic Kart, Exprit Kart and FA Kart.

"It is an exciting time for us as we look to take a new brand of chassis to the front of the field in North American karting," explained Mike Speed. "Redspeed is something that we have been pushing to have to quite some time. I think it provides teams and competitors to have something a bit different, but still in the OTK family of products. We use the color red a lot in our branding and the fact that it has SPEED in the name is something that we like."

Already taken delivery of a few chassis, Speed Concepts Racing will look to begin a test program immediately. With plans to contend the annual winter karting programs such as the Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) Winter Series and the ROK Cup Promotions Florida Winter Tour, a new brand and image will be seen trackside by the elite karting entity at the opening round of the World Karting Association Manufacturers Cup in Daytona Beach, Florida, December 28th – 30th.

Speed added, "We have complete trust in OTK and the products that they provide. They have been the leader in the karting industry for a very long time and not only in North America, but around the world. OTK USA has been incredible to deal with from the staff that they bring to the races as well as the service they provide in their fully stocked warehouse. We are proud to represent OTK and the Redspeed Racing Kart and look forward to a successful campaign in 2020."

"We will hit the ground running and look towards the top step of the podium right away," Speed continued. "We will have chassis and components in stock and make them available for not only our race team, but the end user as well."
